Ricardo Maya is a Cuban Painter Painter, Sculptor, Recorder, Illustrator and Designer, currently domiciled in Granada, Nicaragua. He was engaged as a Professor of Arts and a Gallery Director before changing his career and adopting arts and creativity as his preferred field of work where his current follows his passion in creating works of genius. When facing his artwork, as an artist Ricardo tries to make it upright, no matter what the elements are. The style or the speech of the semiotic symbols which most of the time are his personal codes. Most of his admirers value his work according to the influence he has from surrealism or magic realism. On the other hand, that contradicts his attitude of "not being an artist of a single painting".
