The Vibrant Demon Series is party of Daha Ata (18) Sanniya masks which are essential accessories of ancient dance ritual in Sri Lanka, also known as devil dance. Maru and Naga Sanniya Mask is used for Its purpose is healing and blessing through a performance in which 18 kinds of maladies, inflicted by devils, are purged from human body. According to historians, these masks are used in healing of wallowing & contortions in the eyes and swelling of the faces and peeling of skins respectively.
