Kolam Series is created for a traditional dance performance comprised of numerous episodes and diverse characters perform their roles representing the traditional rural setting of Sri Lanka. Arachchi Kolama Mask is worn by the dancer who portrays the character of the Village Headman. This is considered a vital part of the Kolam Dance where the character wearing this mask engages the audience in the dance performance.
