It is the incredibly arrogant look that inspired me and the dignity with which the flamingos enter...my husband is fascinated by the shape, as the "rear" reminds him of his scooter ;)... I have strongly abstracted the landscape by creating superimposed layers with horizontal, broad brushstrokes. The long, somewhat spindly legs of the flamingos are accentuated by applying paint with a spatula. Thus a semi-abstract, elegant picture with a good long-distance effect was created.
