Summerfeeling! A small flock of colorful, exotic birds flies over green palm leaves. The picture is reduced to this close-up and shows palm trees and birds in a stylised, abstract way. Through the bright colors and the simplicity of the motif the viewer is immersed a little into the carefreeness of this small world. I was attracted by the resemblance between a spread out bird's wing and the finely articulated palm leaves. So I slightly abstracted both and combined them to a wonderful, exotic summer picture.
